Easy to pick up, hard to master

Drive forward or back and lean in the air. That is all you need, and it takes real skill to use it well.

Hold full throttle over a crest and you will flip. Ease off, lean forward and stick the landing. Short runs are perfect for a quick session on the couch, and there is always one more contract to beat.

New to hill-climb games? Hill-climb driving tips and how to land a jump cover the basics.

Gas

Drive forward and climb.

Brake and reverse

Back off before a crest, or roll back to retry.

Lean back

Lift the nose on a climb or a jump.

Lean forward

Bring the nose down and stick the landing.

16 vehicles that drive differently

Each has its own weight, grip, speed, suspension and fuel economy. Heavy trucks climb like tractors, light bikes fly, and the bus is a challenge of its own.

Lifted 4x4 pickup

Heavy and grippy - it climbs like a tractor.

Dune buggy

Light and quick, and happiest in the air.

Rally compacts

Fast and nimble, with a classic mini among them.

Desert 4x4 and tactical truck

A desert 4x4 and a military-style tactical truck, built for rough ground.

Yellow school bus

Long, tall and top-heavy. Getting it over a crest is an achievement.

Eight motorcycles

From dirt bikes to tourers - real suspension, wheelies and stunts.

Why a bus and a dirt bike climb so differently: truck vs dirt bike on a steep hill.

A real career

Work through 40 contracts across five tours. Each completed contract earns a license star that opens new routes and vehicles.

  • Reach a distance.
  • Collect coins.
  • Hit a top speed.
  • Land a long jump.
  • Finish with fuel to spare.

Finish the career and take on the repeatable Master License runs on the hardest routes in the game. Replay any event you have already finished for extra coins.

Fuel is everything

Your tank is always running. Grab fuel cans along the route and plan your speed, because a sloppy run will leave you rolling to a stop just short of the finish.

Every vehicle shows its fuel range in the garage. More on pacing a run in throttle and fuel on a climb.

Upgrade your garage

Spend the coins you win on five upgrades per vehicle, each up to level 5.
