Rotate PDF

Turn sideways or upside-down pages the right way up - all at once or one by one - and save the PDF permanently rotated. You see every page, and it all happens in your browser.

How to rotate a PDF

  1. Drop the PDF onto the box above - every page appears as a preview.
  2. Use Rotate all, or the arrows on a single page.
  3. Press Save PDF. The rotation is stored in the file, so it opens the right way everywhere.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Rotation is a property of the page, so the content is not re-rendered or recompressed - text stays selectable and images untouched.

How your files stay private

Most free converters upload your file, process it on their server and send the result back - so a copy of it passes through somebody else's machine. This page does all of the work in your browser instead. The files you choose are read into memory on your own device, processed there and handed back as a download; none of their contents is transmitted. You can switch off Wi-Fi after the page has loaded and it keeps working.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Each page preview has its own rotate buttons.

Will the rotation be saved?

Yes. The downloaded PDF has the new rotation and opens that way in every PDF reader.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

PDFs that need a password to open are not supported - remove the password first in the app you use to open it. PDFs that only restrict editing usually work.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and processed by your browser on your own device. Its contents are never sent anywhere - you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it keeps working.
