In the morning a notification arrives at a time you choose, with one idiom, word or fact. During the day a widget on your home or lock screen shows the term and keeps the answer back. In the evening one question arrives: still remember this? You answer yes or no right from the notification.
Yes pushes the card further out: it comes back in three days, then a week, then two weeks, then a month. No brings it back sooner, with the meaning spelled out again. Either answer is useful - forgetting is not a failure, it just tells the app when to ask next.
Because a streak turns one missed day into the loss of everything before it, and that is usually when people give up. In Learn Daily, missing a day means you missed a day. Your collection, and everything you remember, is still there.
Put it where you look most, usually the lock screen. It shows the term and hides the answer. Each time you pick up your phone, try to recall the meaning before tapping - that small moment of remembering is the practice. Tap to see the answer, tap again to hide it.

Yes. Write a card for a phrase from a meeting or a word from a book, and it joins the same evening checks on the same schedule as everything else. The free plan allows ten of your own cards; Learn Daily+ removes the limit.
They describe where each card stands in your collection. Fresh cards are recently learned, warm ones you have been remembering well, cooling ones have gone a while without a check, and "worth another look" marks the ones that could do with some attention. Yes. Send any card to somebody as a picture in your colour theme, with the meaning on it. On day thirty, a hundred, half a year and a year there is also a poster with the number on it, just to celebrate a little.
