Every round is scored by distance: the closer your pin lands to the real location, the more points you earn, up to 5,000 for a near-perfect guess. Nearby guesses still award partial credit, so good geographic instinct is always rewarded even when you do not nail the exact spot.
Region mode asks you to identify the correct country or area and is great for casual play and learning. City mode rewards neighborhood-level precision for a much tougher challenge. You can switch between the two whenever you like.
Premium AI hints give you progressive, spoiler-free clues - a nudge toward the continent, climate, or cultural cues - so you still solve the round yourself. They run entirely on-device, so nothing about your play leaves your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The developer collects no data.
You can play three games every day, five rounds each, for free. The one-time GeoExplorer Premium purchase (no subscription) removes the daily cap and unlocks AI hints, regional training on specific continents or cities, and custom session lengths of 5, 10, 20, or 50 rounds.
